How crazy! kids can’t play tag during recess.

The first question my son asked me when he came home from his first day of school, “Hey dad, why can’t we play tag during recess?” I asked that same question to an administrator a year ago and she said it gives a bully another opportunity to bully. Tag is fun, great exercise, and loaded with developmental value (quickness, foot speed, etc.) Why aren’t they punishing the bully rather than all the kids that want to play tag? How’s a little bully going to learn a lesson…or are we just letting them grow up to be big bullies, something middle/H.S. are trying to prevent?
