What’s happening to our playgrounds?!

Why are sedentary games such as “tic-tac-toe” making their way into public playgrounds, replacing physical activities?
Kids can do that indoors. Public playgrounds were designed to provide large spaces for physical movement. Sadly, our society continues to condition kids for a sedentary lifestyle..and then wonder why childhood obesity has reached unprecedented rates.

    I agree 99%, but there is a huge benefit from just being outside and away from tv, computers, phones and who knows what else?
